HOW IT WORKS

Over the past five years, massively parallel DNA sequencing platforms have become widely available. As a result, variants data on genomes from healthy subjects and patients are being generated at an unprecedented rate. However, the development of bioinformatics tools for handling these data lags behind, creating a gap between the massive data being generated and the ability to fully exploit biological contents of these data. We created Tute to reduce this gap and help researchers and consumers better understand whole-genome sequence data.

Tute is an innovative web application to analyze and annotate personal genomes in an accurate, rapid, comprehensive, secure and cost-effective way. Users upload files containing variants information from whole-genome or whole-exome sequencing. Tute analyzes, annotates and organizes the results, then delivers the information back to users via web interface. We are currently developing a mobile interface for Tute webapp, so that users can also examine and explore genomes in mobile devices easily.

Tute is currently in beta testing. Register an account now and you will get 4 genomes analyzed for free.
